How long will my order take to arrive?

For UK addresses, each item is sent and tracked via Royal Mail. Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive an email so you can track its journey. From that point your order should be with you within 1-3 working days. 

Orders headed to more exotic places will take longer and could be subject to delays due to Covid. See Shipping and returns for more info.

Do you ship to my country?

Adornment ships everywhere! Unfortunately international shipping prices have risen due to corona, but it can be done! Shipping will be calculated during checkout and any taxes/charges applied upon entry to your country will be your responsibility to pay. See Shipping and returns for more info.

Do you accept commissions?

Yes! Please drop me an email to chat but we love to work with people to co-create bespoke pieces - whether it’s tweaks to an existing Adornment design or an entirely new one.

Bespoke reworks can use just jewellery you provide - any broken, unloved or rarely worn items could work - or combine them with materials from my archive. I also accept jewellery for recycling in exchange for store credit via www.rejewelcollective.com.

 

Do you accept returns?

Adornment lovingly handcrafts all the pieces you buy. Because the vintage materials we use are already aged, they are delicate and can be more vulnerable to damage than totally new jewellery. So please be gentle with your purchase. We can’t be responsible for damage to purchases from rough or careless treatment. If your purchase sustains any damage we are happy to advise on repairs and have a service for this.

We see this age and past wear as part of the beauty of the materials we use. If you would like detail of any such wear within a specific piece, please contact me.

The vintage condition of materials does not constitute a fault in the context of returns.

Why hasn’t my order arrived yet?

If you haven’t received a dispatch email yet, it means w'e’re still wrapping it or queuing at the Post Office! If you have received your dispatch email but your parcel hasn’t arrived yet, please check the tracking info to see where your parcel is.

Please remember that once an item has been dispatched, Adornment isn’t responsible for delays in the item arriving with you. Delays could be caused by busy postal periods (e.g. Christmas), Covid-19 related stuff, or customs clearance in some countries.


Do you offer a repairs service?

Adornment pieces are very carefully handmade, with the aim of you wearing them forever.

However because the vintage materials we use are aged, they are delicate and can be damaged more easily than totally new jewellery.

Therefore if a piece sustains damage from wear of rough treatment we are happy to offer a repairs service.

If you have all the parts, repair is generally free, although the customer will need to cover the cost of all shipping required. If parts are broken or missing, we can still help and repair as closely to the original as possible, but there may be a small cost involved.
